Tehachapi is known world wide for the railroad engineering marvel "loop" of track that crosses over itself, created out of need, due to the steepness of the grade of the mountain pass and the desire to move goods and travelers through that pass.

Where there is a will, as they say, there is a way.

Apparently someone "willed" to have a large letter T on the hill here.

So be it!
