Münchensteinerbrücke is a bridge in Basel near the main railway station. It crosses 14 rail tracks. The bridge itselves has four car lanes, two bike lanes, three tramway tracks and two sidewalks. It has a length of 100 meters and a width of 30 meters.
The current bridge was built between 1993 and 1997. It replaced an older one built from 1904-1906.
The bronze plaque in the Northern head just states the facts:
