A rather attractive pagoda outside Kratie town.

This pagoda (Cambodians prefer to use the term 'pagoda', rather than 'wat') lies near the Mekong River, approximately 30ks south of the provincial capital of Kratie town. The pagoda was damaged during the Vietnam War, and its aftermath, however, in recent years it is being refurbished. What caught my eye, was the high quality of the artwork being added to the pagoda.
When I visited there were a handful of monks, and a new building under construction. There are no English language signs, the name of the pagoda was transliterated into English by myself.
