A very tall and very beautiful bird house was erected next to a boardwalk leading to the Rancocas Creek. Even the marker is beautiful. A lot of work went into this and it is a fine addition to this county park.

This nature reserve was opened in 2009 and is dedicated to the proposition that all creatures are created equal, especially out winged friends. What better place than a bird house built by as as Eagle Scout project. But, ahh, this is no little bird house. I would move in here with all its rooms, levels and accommodations if only I were small enough. A plaque at the bottom marks this as an Eagle Scout project. The scout's name is Kevin Pagdon from troop 117 and the project was completed in 2009.
This bird house is 760 feet away from the parking lot. It is simple to get to. There is a path that cuts through the loop which runs around the park. The path starts at the parking lot at these coordinates: N 40° 0.575 W 74° 54.336. You'll pass the human sun dial at a rotary on the way to the project site. The dial is in a small rotary with benches. At the end of this path, make a left and walk 143 feet and you will come to the boardwalk. The coordinates are 40° 0.671'N 74° 54.328'W. To the left of the beginning of the boardwalk is a small clearing which is where the house is situated.
