A small granite monument, flagpole and memorial bricks located near the present day terminal at Pecos Municipal Airport. During the war over 7500 pilots received either basic or advanced flight training at this facility. Today all the buildings that marked the sprawling base are gone, with only a few other remnants left from that era, only memories and this memorial are left to mark its existence.
The granite marker reads:
