The Corten steel 6 meter tall sculpture entitled "Amegin" was inspired by the "Songs of Amergin", a mythical Celtic druid and poet. The poet was originally from Spain and enchanted the native Irish with his poetry. The sculpture was built at sculptor Ronan Halpin's studio on Achill Island.
