This State Boundary marker is located at Chief Joseph Pass on Mont Hwy 43. The marker is located on the southside of the highway across from the Chief Joseph Pass sign beyond the top of the road cut where a trail comes down the slope. The cap is attached to a pipe which is tilted, probably hit by equipment in the past. The marker is a standard Idaho/Montana border marker stamped 42707M.
