The Rock Valley City Park has no official name, but our grandsons call it the “Orange Park” because of the bright orange play equipment they enjoy so much. Located on Hwy 18 between 12th and 13th Ave, a vast array of up-to-date play equipment awaits active youngsters of all ages. Swings, a variety of slides and climbing equipment, teeter-totters, bridges and a multitude of adventures offer safe play in the shade of large trees. Restrooms and picnic facilities are available close by. This playground makes an ideal place for travelers with children to stop for a rest break on their way through town.
