The Belvelly Bridge connects mainland Ireland with Great Island on which the town of Cobh is located. The bridge spans Belvelly Channel near Belvelly castle. The bridge built in 1807 has three open arch spans in the middle which are flanked by five smaller closed arch spans on each side.
