Memorial is on the side support wall of the Via Tuscolana, as the road raises above the surrounding ground to bridge over the rail line.
A cross is erected above the wall's edge, and it can be seen from the vehicular traffic. The plaque is on the lower side of the support wall, and it lists those local citizens that gave their life in the conflict.
Under the list of names, a female figure is shown, symbol of Italy, and on her sides, the heads of several people, looking down.
