Sgwd yr Eira, translated from Welsh as 'fall of snow' is a curtain type waterfall. The height of the falls is about 25-foot. The falls are a popular destination because the hiking path goes completely behind the falls and continues to the other side. The day I was visited was after several days of rain thus the volume of water was much higher than normal however the trail behind the falls was still accessible.
