An abstract sculpture representing the move from old technology (railway tracks) to new technology (fibre optics).

The 2 piece sculpture is on the site of an old railway station. When they moved the station to the new Forster Square site they redeveloped the land of the old station.
Old rail tracks were used in the sculpture to represent moving on and upwards to the era of the new technology of fibre optics which emerge from the top of the sculpture.
The old arches behind the sculptures now provide locations for buskers and sometimes market traders, selling such things as jewellery.
