The hall was build in 1874 and is only in use a weddinglocation.
Moordrecht lie to the river the 'Hollandsche IJssel', with to the other side 'Gouderak'. Moordrecht doormidden are cut by the Middelweg. Also the track line Utrecht - Rotterdam runs by the place, but Moordrecht have no more a station to this line (1935).
