The church has retained the old school as a meeting place for local groups. There is a simple kitchen and large open floor for people to arrange seating or tables to suit their activity. The old school is on the east boundary of the churchyard. Constructed from local slate with sandstone window and door surrounds. Covered with a slate roof.
