The Lewisburg & Ronceverte Electric Railway (L&RE Rwy) connected to the C&O Rwy at Ronceverte WV and ran seven (7) miles to the Greenbrier County Seat of Lewisburg WV. The line operated from late 1907 to mid 1931, the exact dates having been lost. For part of its life the Rwy used steam power (Shay Engines) rather than actual electric motive power. The line was fully electrified in 1914.

The station building is additionally interesting in that it was based on the C&O Rwy standard design for a small wooden station building for use in remote locations. The "gingerbread" trim is a true C&O fingerprint.

The waypoint shows the station building in its current use and location as a private residence viewable from the public street. As far as can be determined, this is the sole surviving structure from the L&RE Rwy. The original exact location has also been lost to history. Local memories state only that "it was close to the center of town".

The Lewisburg & Ronceverte Electric Railway (L&RE) was know locally as the "Loose and Rickety".

The original location coordinates show only a generic location in downtown Lewisburg.
