Here beside a small pond can camp for free, there is a small picnic area, drinking water, but do not have sanitary facilities.

The Natural Park of Serra de Aire and Lamps is a protected area created in May 4, 1979 by Decree-Law No. 118/79 and aims at the protection of natural features as well as protecting the existing architectural heritage in the mountains of Aire and Lamps, has an area of 38,900 hectares, comprising the municipalities of Porto de Mos and Alcobaça Distrito de Leiria and Alcanena, Rio Maior, Santarém, Torres Novas Ourém and the District of Santarém.

Special Features: The park houses a significant amount of amphibian species (about thirteen), which depend on the existence of temporary ponds and lakes (eg Lake Alvados) for their reproduction. Some species of amphibians in the park are:
- Fire-salamander (Salamandra salamandra)
- Salamandra-de-rib-protruding (Pleurodeles waltl)
- Triton-marbled (Triturus marmoratus)
- Toad-in-black-nail (Pelobates cultripes)
