25432, a CA-7 Class caboose, was built in February 1959 in the Union Pacific, Omaha shops. It was removed from service some forty years later on May 25, 1989. It was donated to Town of Pecos, Texas in September of 1989 and placed on display in the middle of South Oak in front of the railroad station. In 2010 it was moved to the west front corner of the station, between the station and West 1st Street. The interior is not open, but it is readily visible.
