This building has served the area as a library since its opening in 1912. The original grant came from the Carnegie Foundation on March 14, 1902 (visit link) . This beautiful building was designed by Jules "Jock" Jacques Benedict who also designed the town hall for the City of Littleton (visit link) .

The Carnegie Library was recently renovated with $350,000 from Denver bonds and reopened in January 2010 after being closed for six months. (visit link)
