This white iron gazebo was made for Tricia Nixon's wedding to Edward Finch Cox at the White House in 1971. The area is also used for weddings and special events.

The plaque reads "On June 12, 1971, Tricia Nixon and Edward Finch Cox were married in the White House Rose Garden. This gazebo, made especially for the ceremony, is on loan from the White House."
