A rather special piece of woodland run by the Parks Trust, set up when the Milton Keynes Development Corporation completed its work, the Trust looks after all of the open spaces and woodland in and around Milton Keynes, amounting to about 20% of the city's ground area.
This sign is set up at the entrance to 'The Tree Cathedral', a planting of various types of tree set out on the same outline as Norwich Cathedral in 1986. In the 'cloisters area are four Glastonbury Thorns which were in full flower and fruit when I visited early November.
