Celebration of Life Park - Shawnee, OK - Municipal Parks and Plazas on Waymarking.com

Celebration of Life Park is located on the southeast corner of E. Main Street and Philadelphia. The park is situated in downtown Shawnee and many residents were taking advantage of its shade and seating during our visit.

There are no playground or picnic facilities here. It is a town resting area, and a commemoration to the Sister City program of which Shawnee is a part.

A mural decorates the east side of the park, and a lovely gazebo sits in its center, as well as eleven park benches. A brick walkway displaying donated pavers to the Sister City program leads you into the park from the sidewalk.
