Lake Taupo Yacht Club is a family yacht club situated on the northern shores of Lake Taupo near the Boat Harbour entrance at Taupo.

There is an attractive clubhouse on the Lake with great views overlooking Tapuaeharuru Bay and the mountains of Tongariro National Park in the distance. The Yacht Club has a boatshed a few yards away. The boat shed houses a fleet of member centreboard boats. There are start boats P2 and P6 moored in the Boat Harbour nearby. Trailer sailors have access to secure pens in the harbour and some members have permanent moorings in the harbour.
The clubhouse is available for hire and is suitable for parties, weddings, celebrations and dances. It is an ideal venue for a function and is available to community group organisations and clubs for meetings and recreational purposes.
