Philadelphia is home to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Here the Declaration of Independence was signed, the Constitution was written, and the first capitol of a young nation while its permenant home was being constructed just south.

To visit Independence Hall, tickets are required. Visit the <ahref="http://www.nps.gov/inde/">National Park Service website to get your tickets.
There are many things to do and see at Independence National Historic Park. The afore mentioned Independence Hall, which served as the meeting place for the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The Liberty Bell is on the grounds. Many other historic buildings can be found here in Downtown Philadelphia. There are 55 acres along 20 city blocks.
