?The Sexton House, designed by Peter Barber, was built in 1880
by nationally known horticulturalist, Joseph Sexton, as the center of his 40 acres nursery and to house his family of 14!
The house was restored in 1988-89 by the Bearver-Free Corporation. Today, many of these plants are still around in front of the house.
Currently, the house is on the grounds of the Pacifica Suites Hotel.
