Located in the centre of the sprawling Korat city is this hotel, the Chaophaya Inn. A host of review sites will tell you that this is an 'average' hotel: clean, functional, pleasant, but no flash, and they are correct, us$15 a night, with breakfast (monthly discounts apply). Perfect for a 'cheap charlie' to spend a few nights in, while visiting this city.
Atop this fine hotel is a large, green neon sign. It is visible up and down the street, and it does stand out from the other signs along the street.
