The text on the sign reads:
"Rock Canyon Plants & Animals
Plants and Animals are the threads interconnected and woven togehter. Each creates a bond to forma pattern in the fabric of life. This Diversity weaves a healthy watershed. Maple trees, oak, sagebrush and grasses provide food and shelter for squirrels, snakes, chipmunks and insects. Cottonwood, birch and willow grow on banks of the stream channel helping aid in flood control. Rock cliffs and caves are home to rare wildlife, spotted bats roost in caves and golden eagles raise their young on cliffs. King woody aster and Wasatch jamesia are rare plants that find shelter in crevices."
