Wat Phayap is located at the centre of the city of Korat, near a number of other important cultural sites. The Wat grounds contain the usual range of Buddhist structures, however, in addition there is an artificial cave. This cave, is not only a tourist drawcard, but it also replicates Buddhist sacred sites. The cave contains replicas of various Buddhist artefacts. Worth a visit if you are nearby.
* one note. When I visited in 2010 I met several surly, large dogs. Take care.
