Sihanoukville is the beach/resort city of Cambodia, ~200kms to the south west of Phnom Penh. A little outside the city, adjacent to a large and busy market, is the city bus station. A little worn, a little rough, but certainly a busy spot.
The station consists of a long, rectangular building, with small offices, with each office belonging to a different bus company. The buses park in the open area in front of the building. Most of these companies are small, a few buses servicing the local area, however, there are also larger inter-provincial bus companies. In addition to this station, buses also stop at the various company offices in the town. I was told that there are plans to construct a new bus station building elsewhere in the city.
