Johnson's Farm has been around forever. A hayride takes you out to the pumpkin patch where you can pick pumpkins and gourds. Last week was apple picking and in a few weeks will be time to pick corn. The pumpkin picking hayrides run from 10 to 5 on weekends and on weekdays, the leave on the hour from 11 to 5. On our Sunday visit, the tractors were leaving every 5 minutes or so. The place was absolutely packed with other attractions as well.

In addition to the Fall harvest, there is also strawberries, blueberries, peaches, sweet Potatoes, popcorn and cotton. There website has the picking schedule. We paid 69 cents a pound for the pumpkins and 1.69 for the gourds. Parking is very plentiful. Today, however, there has to be a police presence to handle all the traffic. We had to park in the local high school across the street. The kids had a blast! Most of the pumpkins were already snipped from the vine. The tractor/hayride drops you off after a 5 minute ride, waits for people to finish and then takes you back.

There is also a petting zoo, a ice cream stand, moon bounces, a corn maze and lots of photo opps for the kids. There is a market where you can by fruit and veggies and pies (although not baked here). The town's website can be found HERE. Off to the left, the fifth link down reads For Medford Tourism. Click it. You will come HERE. Next, you can click the Recreation tab which will list the other attractions including this one (Found HERE) with a little blurb and contact information or you can click on the last picture at the top of the webpage and that will take you directly to their home page which can be found HERE
