Martin Regional Library in Tulsa is named after Allie Beth Martin, who had a library science degree from Columbia University and moved here with her family in 1949. She was instrumental in developing the Tulsa library, and was the first director of the Tulsa City-County Library System. She was at one time President of the American Library Association.
