Milam Park is an old, established park that was renovated in 1993-1994. One of the improvements were made to the park was that donated benches were placed around the park for visitors to have a place to sit, relax, and enjoy the shaded areas while still enjoying the people and activities going on. Each bench is an ornate metal bench, painted black. At the foot of each bench is a small square marker giving the name of the donor who sponsored the bench. Milam Park is located on the west side of downtown San Antonio, TX. Parking is limited to parking meters around the perimeter of the park unless you are willing to pay for parking in nearby lots or garages. Milam Park is located at 501 W. Commerce, San Antonio, TX.
