The second largest town of Cambodia, Battambang, 300kms north west of Phnom Penh, has a central market, similar in design to that of Phnom Penh, in that both share a French colonial era, art-deco look. Most probably this market was built in the 1930s, in the same timeframe as its exemplar.
On the western end of this central market is a clock above the main entrance. This clock differs in design from the clocks of the other central markets I have seen, thus it may have been a later addition. Since the clock apparently advertises cigarettes, maybe the 1960s? Needless to say, the clock is non-operational.
