Památce padlým, zemrelým a nezvestným v druhé svetové válce 1939 - 1945.
Památník se sochou lva. Lev, jako symbol bojovnosti, vzdoru a hrdosti, se casto objevuje na pomnících padlým hrdinum z válek.
Lev je i symbolem ceské státnosti. Jako odkaz na povest o svatém Václavovi.
Pomník je na travnatém prostranství pred továrnou Škoda.
In memory of the fallen, dead and disappeared in World War 1939 - 1945.
The memorial is a statue of a lion. Lion as a symbol of militancy, defiance and pride often appears in memorials to fallen heroes from wars.
The lion is the symbol of Czech statehood. As a reference to the legend of Saint Wenceslas.
The monument is on a grassy area in front of Skoda factory.
