* The Territorial Division Act uses the names “Hull” to identify judicial districts, along with the chief places (main cities). The courthouse is called the “Hull courthouse”, to link it to the judicial districts it serves. Although the municipality of Hull are now called Gatineau, the courthouse will continue to bear the original names unless the Territorial Division Act is amended.
