There are two stone plaques which read as follows:
'To the Glory of God
and in proud and loving memory
of all
who fell in the Great War of
1914 - 1918.
Greater love hath no man than this
that a man lay down his life for his friends.'
The opposite plaque reads:
'Tincleton Roll of Honour.
