The church was built by Benjamin Ferrey in 1849 and is described by Pevsner as having a 'nave with bellcote and chancel.' Two bells can be seen in the bellcote and a small chimera stares out at the landscape above the bells.
The website below has details of the actual bells describing the lighter one as dating to 1849. On the other bell is an inscription which is hard to distinguish. The details of the bells are given as:
'Two Bells. Tenor - Diam., 24in; height, 20in.; note C.

2. B T I B D (? C) W'
