City hall is located in the town civic center. The building was built in 1967, ten years after the city was incorporated. The building is a mix of brown bricks and glass.
A few feet from the city hall is a veterans memorial made up of a fountain (that wasn't working) One of the trees outside the city hall is a dedicated tree.
The Santa Fe Springs town center is made up of serveral civic building including the city hall, community center, the federal post office and the city owned library. There's no police headquarters here, since policing is provided by neighboring Whittier.
Santa Fe Springs, CA had a population of 17,438in 2000. It's located in southeastern Los Angeles County, and is part of the Gateway Cities (those next to Orange County)
