The city hall is located on the main street of the city. It's located between the former police station and the county library. The city hall is built in a art deco style. The facade has high walls, is two stories and has curved smooth edges. There's also nice decorative pieces over the doorway to the city council.
The city has an area of 1.14 square miles, making it the third smallest city in the county. As of 2000 it's population was at 30,000.
In 2010, the city became the first to dismantle it's police force and outsource it. It's also outsourced most of it municipal staff, with the exception of the city attorney, manger and city council.
