USACE WAIKIKI 1948 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This disk is located at Kewalo Basin. The designation comes from the datasheet for TU0295 (B 5); the description notes that B 5 is located 48 feet south of a US Army Corps of Engineers disk stamped WAIKIKI 1948. The USACE disk has been scratched so much as to make it illegible, but it is still there, and is presumed to be the one referred to in the datasheet. The disk is located at the start of the pier, 48 feet north of disk B 5, at the rough corner of a concrete section of ground intruding on an asphalt section of ground. It is roughly in line with a handrail and yellow concrete base of a lightpole, as well.
