Statyn har skänkts av Inga och Rune Brännborns som startade sitt företag i Örkelljunga 1958.
Lejonen symboliserar Örkelljungabyggdens styrka och viljekraft.
Stenen som är skänkt av PEAB är hämtad vid motorvägsbygget 2006

The statue was donated by Inga o Rune Brännborns who started their
company in Örkelljunga in 1958.
(Info: the Brännborn company today has real estates, clothes store and furniture stores in several citys in south Sweden)
The Lion symbolize the strenght and will of Örkelljunga area.
The stone was donated by PEAB (a consuction company) and was found then they built the highway around Örkelljunga.
