A painted metal sign depicting village life. At the back of the picture is St Peter’s Church. In the foreground is the River Mimram, which flows to the south of Tewin. The sign also contains various images of country life that include fruits, flowers and a badger.
The sign sports the date 2000, however the parish website quotes the unveiling of the sign in 2003.
There is a small brass plaque on the post with just the name BRIAN GAZE and a telephone number. Brian Gaze of Walsham le Willows, was the artist of the sign.
