This Memorial is set on the corner outside the Ocean Fire Co. No. 1 firehouse. It has sevral components: two dedicated benchs, a pedestal with an engraving on one side and a prayer on the other and a gate-type monument with a red iron circle in it's center. Names of past firefighters are engraved on the "gate".
The engraving on the pedestal's plaque reads:
"OCEAN FIRE CO. NO. 1
ORGANIZED 1885
IN MEMORY OF OUR MEMBERS
DONATED BY THE LADIES AUXILIARY '68"
