Long black-and-white mural of a big wave at Steamer Lane

The wave is huge - painting the top half was done using a cherry-picker lift, and the whole thing reportedly required 18 gallons of paint. Black and white for a mural is unusual, but was a natural extension of the artist's prior work which has been large charcoal-on-paper portraits. The black renders the main wave a weighty graphic shape, almost solid, rather than translucent and shifting as most of us perceive waves to be.
This is a fairly ugly area where railroad tracks cross a wide street near some light-industrial buildings, so the mural is a big improvement.
