This mural is on the alley-side wall of Sylvan Music, so not surprisingly it features music-related images. One large section is pictures of guitar-string packages; the most colorful section depicts a rack of fanciful guitars. The mural was done with spray paint in a loose, grafitti-influenced style. Lanny Markasky grew up in Santa Cruz, and indeed has worked at Sylvan Music, before going to art school in Los Angeles, so he was a natural choice as the mural artist.
