VDOT 029-1625, VA, is a Commonwealth of Virginia – Department of Transportation (VDOT) survey disk located in the grass median strip of Beulah Street (County Road 613), about 0.6 miles north of the intersection of Beulah Street and Telegraph Road (County Road 611), in Fairfax County, VA. The 3.5-inch aluminum disk is located about 0.3 miles north-northeast of View Lane leading west, about 0.12 miles south of the driveway entrance (leading east) to the Franconia Moose Lodge at 7701 Beulah Street, about 90 feet northwest of the intersection of Beulah Street and a gravel drive leading east to houses numbered 7727 and 7723, about 60 feet northwest of a storm drain on the east curb of Beulah Street, about 12 feet east of the east curb of the southbound lanes, about four feet west of the west curb of the northbound lanes, and in the top of a round concrete monument that is flush with the surface. The monumentation date is unknown, and the disk is in neither the Geocaching nor National Geodetic Survey databases. It is stamped SURVEY MARKER 029-1625. To reach from Interstate Highway 95 south of the I-495 Beltway around Washington, DC, take Exit 169 to Franconia Road (County Road 644) eastbound. Go east on Franconia Road for about 2.1 miles to the intersection with Beulah Street. Turn right and go southwest on Beulah Street for about 2.7 miles to the station on the left in the grass median. This station is about 0.37 miles north of survey disk VDOT 029-1624. Recovery of this station was first logged on the Geocaching datasheet for survey disk TRAIL, PID = HV9697.
