A memorial to Japanese fishermen. The memorial consists of a fisherman who's sitting while he's holding a fish. The piece is along the waterfront in the Steveston area of Richmond.

"This statue is dedicated to the pioneering Japanese fishermen and the generations that followed for their contributions to the fishing industry and and British Columbia. Erected on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the arrival of the first Japanese to Canada, the statue commemorates the spirit of these fisherman and legacy of their courage perseverance, leadership and accomplishments."
