My wife goes to Lavoies to pick strawberries every year. She always comes back with a huge box full. They taste better than any strawberry I've bought at the supermarket.
Strawberry picking season is the second half of June. For 2006, the price is $1.50 per pound. My daughter and I just picked ten pounds. The strawberries are ripe, juicy, and delicious.
Update June 2009: Strawberries are $1.75 per pound. Still delicious.
