In former times, here in this valley there were huts for miners and workers working with the gold ore. This gold ore was brought down the valley from the galleries and tunnels up on the mountain were the diggers searched for gold.
After the second world war, this gold camp was abandoned. A few years ago, it was rebuilt and opened for tourists. Now you can try yourself in gold washing and you can see at real working objects, how the gold was extracted from the rest of the rocks.
It is really nice made and a lot of fun for kids!
