The coordinates take you to a bronze plaque mounted horizontally on a base of concrete near a tree planted along SE Riverside Drive in Evansville, Indiana. This is a civilian dedication honoring Henry Wimberg for providing the finances to create a Free Dental Clinic in Evansville in 1914. The plaque text reads: "In Memory of Henry Wimberg whose generous gift founded the Evansville Free Dental Clinic in Nineteen Hundred and Fourteen. 1940." The Free Clinic was established in 1914 though Henry Wimberg's financial gifts to the Evansville Dental Society, that set up this clinic initially in 1914. The website posted below shows city records that by December 1916, the Evansville Dental Society gifted the free clinic to the city of Evansville and it became part of the Department of Public Health and Charities. A Google search of free dental clinics in Evansville indicated there was still some opportunities for free dental care, albeit limited, so old Henry Wimberg's vision for funding a free clinic has had long lasting effect on the residents of Evansville, IN.
