JOHN PICKERING
Pioneer Educator
of Putnam Co.

Found some items on Mr. Pickering:
John Pickering, He is buried in Hartford Cemetery, son of Benjamin and Malinda White Pickering, born in Washington Co., TN April 9, 1841 and died October 25, 1927 in Hartford, MO. He served with the Missouri State Militia Cavalry during the Civil War. Enlisted at St. Louis, MO on January 1, 1862 and served until the end of the war.
